School Creative Writing Workshops
Offering all Children the opportunity to enjoy hearing the stories read by the Author followed by Creative Time to write and illustrate their own short stories.

Reception & Nursery (Early Years Foundation Stage) Duration: 15 mins Story Time read aloud by The Author, guess what the animals are planning in the first book, hear how a lonely Toad found new friends in the second book and how a very determined little Mouse found a forever home for his family.
Years 1 & 2 (KS1) Duration: 1 hour sessions Story Time read aloud by The Author, followed by a Workshop. Year 1 focusing on creating either a picture/illustration, bookmark or painting a clay magnet. Year 2, as above with additional option to write a short rhyming story.
Years 3 - 6 (KS2) Duration: 30 minute sessions per class. Interaction with the children throughout the presentation, with Q&A time afterwards.
